SC Club América have been drawn into the Central 1 group at this year’s Leagues Cup, alongside two MLS sides in Columbus Crew and St. Louis City SC. Las Águilas come into the tournament in good form in cup formats, having been knocked out of the LIGA MX Clausura 2023 at the semi-final stage.
