Meanwhile, CITY SC are clear at the top of the Western Conference, having racked up 13 wins from 23 games so far in what has been a resounding debut campaign.

As well as Columbus Crew and St. Louis CITY SC, Central 1 also includes Liga MX side Club América. Las Aguilas finished runners-up in last season’s Clausura 2023 tournament in Liga MX, and would go on to reach the semifinal stage of the playoffs, where they suffered a 3-2 defeat to Chivas de Guadalajara.
