The emblematic 29-year-old defender became a new reinforcement of Cruz Azul to strengthen the team in June 2023. He arrived from FC Juárez and now hopes to be the backbone of the club’s defense.
Salcedo won two cup titles with Chivas de Guadalajara, a German Cup with Eintracht Frankfurt, a LIGA MX and Concacaf Champions League with Tigres UANL. Now, he will try to add this Leagues Cup to his trophy case with Cruz Azul.

The 23-year-old midfielder from Pumas’ youth academy arrived at Cruz Azul in January 2022, signing a contract until 2025. Erika Lira has become the of La Máquina’s midfield and with the development of young Mexican players being a hot topic, many hope he takes another step in his growth this season.
