It’s another all-MLS tie in the final set of fixtures in the Round of 32 being played this week. FC Cincinnati drew their first match of Leagues Cup 2023 against Sporting Kansas City 3-3, but ultimately lost the game on penalties (4-2). They however bounced back by knocking out Mexican giants Chivas, in a convincing 3-1 win against 10-men to qualify for the round of 32.
Nashville’s road to the knockout stage saw them beat Colorado Rapids 2-1 in their opening match, thanks to a goal from Hany Mukthar and Jacob Shaffelberg. The team hailing from the Music City lost their second outing against Toluca, as their opponents mounted an impressive comeback to win 4-3 with Nashville down to 10-men.
