The home side know that all the attention will be on this fixture as the first round of 16 tie - and one that will feature Inter Miami CF’s stars as they embark on their first game on the road.
Colombian-American Jesús Ferreira will be the biggest attacking threat for **FC Dallas** and will be the home side’s answer to Lionel Messi in attack for Inter Miami CF. The USMNT international has already paid tribute to the former Barcelona star in one of his goal celebrations.
During FC Dallas’ 1-0 win over Austin FC in MLS back in May, Ferreira scored in the 89th minute to get one over their Texas rivals. He celebrated by taking off his no.10 jersey and pointed it out to the crowd, as Lionel Messi did against Real Madrid in 2017. A few months after Ferriera took inspiration from the Barcelona man, he’ll face him in the round of 16 of Leagues Cup 2023.
