LAFC moved on to the round of 16 following a 7-1 takedown, in a brutal show of force in the second half. But the star of the night was, undoubtedly, Denis Bouanga, who led the barrage of goals with a hat trick.
Bouanga’s magical night didn’t just stop with his hat trick in Leagues Cup. His hat trik also marked the third different competition he’s scored three in a single night. Bouanga has also notched a hat trick in CONCACAF Champions League and in the Major League Soccer regular season.
