The left-back has already taken the field for his first training session with his new team. The ex-Barcelona trident have already captured the hearts of their fanbase and struck fear into those of their opponents, ahead of their Round of 32 clash.

The defender is now at the disposal of his manager Gerardo Martino, who is considering including him among the substitutes for their match against Orlando City SC on Wednesday, August 2. The Herons will go into the match-up against their state rivals aiming to claim a spot in the last 16 of the tournament, which brings together the best teams in Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

This Monday, July 31, the full-back had his first training session with Inter Miami CF and was welcomed by his new teammates. Before heading out onto the pitch, he was seen chatting with Messi and Busquets, who will have undoubtedly explained the importance of the team’s upcoming game to him.
