Leagues Cup 2026 Semifinals Set For September 2 in Houston and Los Angeles

Toluca FC vs. Club León and Club América vs. CF Monterrey to compete for a place in the Leagues Cup Final

Tickets available via LeaguesCup.com; media accreditation now open for both Semifinal matches

The Leagues Cup 2026 Semifinals are set, with Toluca FC facing Club León and Club América taking on CF Monterrey on Wednesday, September 2.

The four remaining clubs advanced from a field of 36 MLS and LIGA MX teams and are now one win away from the Leagues Cup Final. This year marks the first time in the modern Leagues Cup era that four LIGA MX clubs have advanced to the Semifinals, creating a compelling new chapter in the MLS vs. LIGA MX rivalry and underscoring the tournament’s competitive stakes.

In addition to competing for the tournament title, the semifinalists remain in contention for one of three berths in the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup, awarded to the Leagues Cup champion, runner-up and third-place finisher. With all four semifinalists representing LIGA MX, the three berths awarded through Leagues Cup 2026 will be earned by LIGA MX clubs; if any club has already qualified through another pathway, its berth will remain with LIGA MX and be reallocated to the next eligible club based on the league’s qualification criteria.
