ORLANDO CITY SC vs. CF MONTRÉAL (INTER&CO Stadium)

Two MLS sides meet with international pride at stake when Orlando City SC hosts CF Montréal on Friday at INTER&Co Stadium in Orlando, Florida, in one of the opening encounters of the 2024 Leagues Cup.

Familiar foes from the MLS Eastern Conference, the two sides will kick things off in the East 2 group, which also includes LIGA MX club Atletico de San Luis. It is one of two exclusive groups that feature a team from Canada, the United States, and Mexico — adding fuel to the duel for international superiority.

ATLANTA UNITED FC vs. D.C. UNITED (Mercedes-Benz Stadium)

Ladies and gentleman, Friday evening is the beginning of one of the most anticipated tournaments of the year, and what better way to kick it off than with two MLS Eastern Conference rivals. It’s the 2024 edition of Leagues Cup, a competition featuring the biggest clubs from Canada, the United States and Mexico — kicking off with Atlanta United and D.C. United at 8 p.m. ET on MLS Season Pass via Apple TV.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium will be the venue for this highly anticipated game from group East 7. In last year’s Leagues Cup, Atlanta United was unable to advance beyond the group stage, behind Inter Miami CF and Cruz Azul; while D.C. United advanced as a second-place team in group East 2 — just one point behind group winner Pumas — later eliminated by the Philadelphia Union in a penalty shootout in the knockout stage.

PUMAS UNAM vs. AUSTIN FC (Q2 Stadium)

The first interleague showdown of the 2024 edition of Leagues Cup will kick off between Major League Soccer’s Austin FC and LIGA MX’s Pumas at the picturesque Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas, on Friday at 9 p.m. ET. With a festive atmosphere almost a certainty and tons of carne asada and hot dogs outside the stadium, this is where Soccer meets Fútbol.

SEATTLE SOUNDERS FC vs. MINNESOTA UNITED FC (Lumen Field)

Seattle Sounders FC and Minnesota United FC add another chapter to their MLS Western Conference rivalry on Friday at Lumen Field in Seattle with a 10 p.m. ET kickoff in the 2024 Leagues Cup.

Facing off in the West 5 group, which also includes LIGA MX side Necaxa, the two teams prepare for a game that takes the shackles off because of the knockout format of the tournament.

“Ultimately, Leagues Cup is fun,” said Minnesota United FC defender Zarek Valentin. “As players, it juices us up a little bit. It kind of breaks up the monotony of the season.”

LAFC vs. CLUB TIJUANA (BMO Stadium)

A patriotic coaching battle to kick off Leagues Cup 2024 in Los Angeles? It's all happening in Los Angeles on Friday with a 11 p.m. ET kickoff.

After taking over as Club Tijuana manager from Miguel Herrera to start the season (just as he did with the Mexican National Team back in 2015), Juan Carlos Osorio will lead his team into BMO Stadium on Friday to author a new chapter in the ever-growing MLS vs. LIGA MX rivalry against an LAFC side led by former U.S. Men’s National Team right-back Steve Cherundolo — who has recently been linked to the vacant USMNT head coaching position thanks to his success in Los Angeles.
