SAN LUIS vs. MONTRÉAL (Stade Saputo)

The 2024 Leagues Cup makes its first appearance on Canadian soil as CF Montréal hosts Atlético de San Luis in a group East 2 matchup at Stade Saputo. The home side will look to hold off elimination after opening group play with a 4-1 loss to Orlando City last Friday.

The LIGA MX visitors, on the other hand, will be in search of redemption as they were one of the four Mexican sides who did not earn a single point in the 2023 edition of the tournament.

PACHUCA vs. NEW YORK (Red Bull Arena)

Major League Soccer has dominated LIGA MX in the early exchanges of the 2024 Leagues Cup to the tune of seven wins and one loss in head-to-head matchups but most of the Mexican league’s top teams have yet to play. That begins on Tuesday when recently crowned Concacaf Champions Cup winner Club Pachuca takes on New York Red Bulls in a highly-anticipated heavyweight clash at Red Bull Arena with an 8 p.m. ET kickoff.

Los Tuzos hope to rectify a disappointing inaugural Leagues Cup campaign in 2024, when they fell in the Round of 32 despite their group stage bye as LIGA MX champions. Meanwhile, everything is on the line for New York as they aim to bounce back from a heartbreaking penalty shootout loss to Toronto FC in their tournament opener. As a result, Red Bulls require a victory to advance to the knockout stages.

MINNESOTA vs. NECAXA (Allianz Field)

There is no time to waste for Minnesota United if they want to have a chance to qualify to the next round of the Leagues Cup. The Loons must beat a team they’ve never faced before. LIGA MX’s Club Necaxa makes their 2024 tournament debut at Allianz Field on Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET on MLS Season Pass, looking for a positive result against a team that struggled in their West 6 opener.

MONTERREY vs. AUSTIN (Allianz Field)

Austin FC will seek its second victory over a LIGA MX club when it welcomes CF Monterrey on Tuesday to Q2 Stadium in Austin for the 2024 Leagues Cup.

The team from the Texas capital defeated Pumas UNAM, 3-2, in the opening match of the West 1 group, ending a three-match winless streak for the MLS side and a four-match unbeaten streak for the historic club from Mexico City.

LAFC vs. VANCOUVER (BMO Stadium)

Following a dominant 3-0 win against Club Tijuana at BMO Stadium on Friday night, LAFC sets their sights on Vancouver Whitecaps FC in their final match of the 2024 Leagues Cup West 7 group stage on Tuesday at 10:30 p.m. ET at BMO Stadium.

This match marks Vancouver’s debut in the Leagues Cup this season. The Whitecaps are familiar opponents, having faced Steve Cherundolo’s LAFC seven times in the last two years, with two more encounters scheduled before the end of 2024. Vancouver has yet to find the way to constantly break down LAFC, losing five out of the seven head-to-head matchups.
