With a half dozen matches scheduled for today and tomorrow, Major League Soccer isn’t going on holiday. From El Tráfico to in-form FC Dallas hosting D.C. United, there’s something for everyone on Matchday 23.

Inter Miami CF vs. Columbus Crew

After notching a gritty draw against Austin at the weekend, the hosts look to climb the standings as they welcome Columbus. It won’t be easy, though – the Crew have consistently shown themselves to be one of the league’s most dangerous teams. Cucho Hernández found the net again at the weekend and makes the visitors a tricky proposition.

Orlando City vs. Toronto FC

With just one loss in their last six matches, the hosts have climbed back into the playoff battle, and will be eager to record a second straight win as they welcome the conference’s second-bottom side. Facundo Torres scored a brace at the weekend and the Uruguayan will be eager to keep up his good form.

FC Dallas vs. D.C. United

Dallas pulled off an impressive win at the weekend as they beat LAFC 2-0, despite missing leading scorer Jesús Ferreira. D.C. were unable to get past ten-man Nashville on Saturday, losing for the third time in four, 2-0.

Colorado Rapids vs. Portland Timbers FC

The struggling Rapids will host a Portland side that is also wanting for form, not having won in four matches and coming off the back of a heavy loss to Minnesota. Colorado also lost on Saturday, falling 2-0 to St. Louis CITY SC and will need a win here as they look to edge back towards the playoff positions.

LA Galaxy vs. Los Angeles Football Club

All eyes will be on El Trafico tonight as the struggling Galaxy, still missing the talismanic Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez, will welcome their derby rivals. With losses in four of their last six league matches, LAFC seem to be having difficulty shaking off their loss in the Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League final.

New York CIty FC vs. Charlotte FC

The only team to have been idle at the weekend, Charlotte head to the Big Apple on Wednesday looking for a win that would vault them back into the play-in positions. NYCFC are level on points with their opponents, though, and will be eager to do the same.
