It was the last round of action in Major League Soccer before Leagues Cup 2023 kicks off, and there was no shortage of action throughout the league as 14 matches took place on Saturday evening.

Atlanta United 1-2 Orlando City

Mauricio Pereyra had a pair of assists to help Orlando come from behind against Atlanta, who had opened the scoring through Caleb Wiley

CF Montréal 2-0 Charlotte FC

Kwadwo Opoku scored for the first time since joining the hosts from Los Angeles Football Club, and had got a second from Chinoso Offor two minutes later to move to within a point of the play-in positions.

New England Revolution 4-0 D.C. United

Ian Harkes helped the Revs to another win in his second start, netting a brace. Carles Gil added two assists to allow the hosts to enter Leagues Cup in second place in the Eastern Conference

Philadelphia Union 2-1 New York City FC

José Martínez and Chris Donovan both struck to give the Union a second win in a row. Andres Jasson scored a consolation goal five minutes from time, but NYCFC would get no closer to their hosts.

Minnesota United FC 1-1 Los Angeles Football Club

Both sides had a goal from their top attackers, Emanuel Reynoso and Carlos Vela, in the first half, but neither side was able to find a winner in the second.

Chicago Fire FC 1-0 Toronto FC

Kacper Przybylko scored the game’s only goal in the 90th minute for Chicago’s fifth win in six matches. Sean Johnson made four saves for Toronto, but it wasn’t enough to prevent the Canadian side’s sixth straight defeat.

FC Cincinnati 3-1 Nashville SC

There’s never any love lost between these two sides, and with eleven bookings, this match was no exception. Nashville finished with nine men as the hosts kept their strong season going with Luciano Acosta netting a goal and an assist.

St. Louis CITY SC 3-0 Inter Miami CF

Eduard Löwen scored an impressive free kick to help lead the hosts pasts Inter Miami in convincing fashion, allowing them to go into Leagues Cup 2023 in top spot in the Western Conference.

Colorado Rapids 0-0 Houston Dynamo FC

In a duel of veteran goalkeepers, William Yarbrough and Steve Clark both made three saves to earn a clean sheet. 

Real Salt Lake 3-1 New York Red Bulls

Diego Luna notched a brace, and Jefferson Savarino added a goal and an assist to keep the hosts’ nine-match unbeaten run alive. Frankie Amaya scored in the 80th minute for New York, but it would ultimately prove but a consolation goal. 

Austin FC 2-1 Sporting Kansas City

Gyasi Zardes and Ethan Finlay both scored in the space of two first-half minutes, and the hosts held on for their fourth win in six matches.

Portland Timbers 3-2 Columbus Crew

Lucas Zelarayán and Dairon Asprilla both scored braces, but the hosts had the last laugh as Sebastían Blanco scored ten minutes from time to seal the win for Portland.

Seattle Sounders FC 1-1 FC Dallas

Maarten Paes impressed in the Dallas goal and Bernard Kamungo struck an equalizer just before the break to earn the visitors a hard-fought point in Seattle.

Vancouver Whitecaps FC 4-2 LA Galaxy

Ryan Gauld scored twice and hit the woodwork to power the hosts to a comprehensive win which lifted Vancouver into the playoff positions.
