Los Angeles Football Club makes its Leagues Cup 2023 debut on Wednesday, August 2nd, when they face FC Juárez at BMO Stadium in the Round of 32.

LIGA MX side FC Juarez finished second in Group South 1 behind Mazatlán FC. In their tournament debut, Los Bravos drew 1-1 against Mazatlán FC before losing in the penalty shootout. The club then bounced back in its second match, a 3-1 win over Austin FC.

LAFC bypassed the group stage and earned a spot in the round of 32 because they won the 2022 MLS Cup Championship. Notwthey must show they can maintain their rhythm despite not having played in over a week.

The winner of this match takes on the winner of Club León vs. Real Salt Lake in the next round.
