After a disappointing 2022 campaign in which they missed out on the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs, the Vancouver Whitecaps are looking to get back on track this season. So far, the Canadian side are on track to reach their Playoffs goal, sitting in seventh place in the MLS Western Conference. The Caps will kick off their Leagues Cup 2023 campaign on the competition’s opening night on July 21, as they take on the reigning champions Club León for the first match-up in the West 3 pool at BC Place. The team are in action again the following week against Los Angeles Galaxy on July 28 - who they beat in their last MLS meeting - this time playing away from home at Dignity Health Sports Park.
