After beating **New York City FC** 1-0 in their first match at **Leagues Cup**, Atlas FC will travel to BMO Field to take on Toronto FC on July 30 for their final group stage game. The Canadian outfit go into the match-up having lost 5-0 in their first fixture, and will need a convincing win if they are to go through to the Round of 32.

The Zorros came into the international tournament - which brings together teams from Mexico, the United States and Canada - after beating the LIGA MX Apertura 2022 champions Club Pachuca in the Clausura 2023 playoffs. Although they beat the previous campaign’s best team, they were unable to get past their derby rivals Chivas de Guadalajara in the quarter-finals.

Meanwhile, Toronto FC are not having a good season and find themselves to last in the MLS Eastern Conference. They are only one point above Inter Miami CF and are looking to revive their campaign with a good performance at Leagues Cup.

Atlas FC are in the East 3 pool alongside Toronto FC and New York City Football Club, both of whom play in the Eastern Conference and are out of contention for the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs for the time being.
